About Us

Developed for a rehab, because needed it!

Even though I am a Farrier, I am a big supporter of barefoot horses.

I've been registered with the Farriers Registration Council  for 14 year.

SoleDry came out of rehabbing a severely laminitic horse in hoof boots.

Boots were essential for comfort and recovery, but they trapped sweat and damp against the foot. Over time I watched the white line break down, the frog crumble and the sole start to fall away. A hoof that stays wet can't stay strong and hard.

I couldn't find anything made for the problem, so I developed my own powder: something that would soak up moisture inside the boot, using natural ingredients.

What's in it

Bentonite clay, zinc oxide, eucalyptus powder, and gum arabic infused with eucalyptus oil and tea tree oil. Bentonite and gum arabic absorb moisture, and the botanicals freshen the boot.

Who it's for

Anyone whose horse spends time in hoof boots: laminitis rehab, barefoot riding, or wet-weather turnout. If moisture is a problem inside your boots, SoleDry is for you.

What we're honest about

SoleDry is a hoof care product, not a veterinary medicine. It helps keep the hoof environment dry, but it isn't a cure for laminitis, thrush or any other condition. If you're worried about your horse's feet, speak to your vet or farrier.
